With our sons in town we decided to walk a loop in the low desert. I'd covered much of this ground before but we found a few new things.

The trip consisted of walking to a saddle then up the ridge to a high point. From there a fairly long descent down a bumpy backside ridge before looping back. We found some petroglyphs on the climb then more on the descent. There were some single room ruins on top and (to my surprise) many more as we came down.

The walk down the ridge dragged on a bit (with a lot of cactii obstacles) precipitating a mutiny and part of the team dropped off early. Too bad for them...they missed the best petroglyphs!
