The Oracle Ridge trail is also easy to follow and remains a trail until just north of Apache Peak where it becomes a two track. This two track continues to Just north of Rice Peak (about 2.5 miles). I thought some of the hardest parts on this trail were along the two tracks because they tend to attack the hills straight on. Not a lot to say about the trails on this hike, it was rather mundane, but I didn't do the hike for the scenery, it is part of the Arizona Trail. I did see another very large juniper tree and a deer that allowed me to shoot some photos of it (of the deer not the tree). |
