This is a round trip hike from Montezuma Pass to Granite peak along the Arizona Trail. What a great hike, great views, great weather and so-so company and a good workout. After doing this hike I realized there are a lot of other trails to do around here, Carr peak, Ida Spring, Hamburg, Lutz Canyon and a few More. Too many trails not enough time. There is a lot of elevation gain on this hike but the scenery is so awesome I didn't notice. Once on the crest it is fairly level walking with a few ups and downs as you cross small peaks. This time of year water was not an issue.
