Not much aeg but plenty of spectacular view points, possible seal sightings, outstanding arches and rock formations with interspersed tidal pools, sandy beaches and fishing spots. A few others will join you but not crowded by any means. Most people use the North shore access, since it's closer to Honolulu. It's a bit of a pain to get to this part of Oahu up to the end of Farrington Hwy, but the secluded beaches and milder surf (compared to the North Shore) make this an excellent outing, especially during the week. |
