| no partners | | | This is a popular hike weather it is Green Mountain Trail from San Pedro Vista and doing a loop of the upper trail or doing a Shuttle hike from San Pedro Vista to General Hitchcock Camp Ground. This Trail offers good views to the east from the upper portions of the trail. Access to spur trails to Maverick Spring and Guthrie Peak also along this trail. This hike is from north to south so there was an elevation drop of 1750 feet. Parking at the General Hitchcock camp ground is for camping only and requires a fee, but there is a spur trail (.6 miles) that takes you to the Bug Spring Trail Parking along the Catalina Highway in Bear Canyon. |
