| no partners | | | This is the return route from the Buffalo Park to Schultz Pass hike. I was suppose to take the Sunset Trail to the Brookbank Trail but got confused with all the trails around Schultz Pass that I ended up taking some unnamed road that kind of paralleled just southwest of the Sunset Trail. Once I figured this out I was able to cross over a small ridge and connect up with the Brookbank Trail. The Brookbank trail to the Oldham trail is in good condition, it looks like it is heavily used. Nice views from this trail of the Kachina Peaks (Agassiz and Fremont). Did see a bear track along the trail. Some hikers earlier in the day told me they saw a bear in the Schultz Pass area. |
