| no partners | | | Side trip on my way to Flagstaff to do some Arizona Trail hikes. Glad I did this, what an awesome canyon. I now know where Arizona Highway Magazine got some of those photos I see in the Magazine not knowing where West Clear Creek was. The trail does a 750 foot drop to the creek bottom and from there you just kind of wing it. I winged a little upstream and then winged a little down stream. You could spend a whole day or more traveling up or down stream exploring. Be prepared to get wet though if you want to continue along the stream. |
