Loop hike on the Abineau Trail, Waterline Trail and Bear jaw Trail. Started out sunny but by the time we got half way on the Waterline Trail it was raining. The Abineau trail was steep but the scenery along the trail and at the end of the trail more than made up for it. Great views of the northeast slopes of Mount Humphrey. You can see where the snow keeps anything of any stature from growing along the canyons going up the slope. During a good winter when the snows accumulate they will avalanche down these slopes knocking down any trees that try to grow there. The waterline trail is just a road and fairly easy walking. Don't have much to say about the Bear Jaw trail other than it's a river during a heavy rain.
