Four of us set out for fun hike! The trail was filled with people, as expected. However, I have to say that other hikers can provide some good comic relief. My favorite conversation was about a woman saying she was going to spray a mountain lion and run away from it if she should happen to come upon one hiking. Is that a thing? Like bear spray? Can't say I would think you would even hear the mountain lion coming to "spray" it. I think you would probably just be dinner. She was going up while we were going down, so then we continued this conversation with other random hikers. We were saying that mountain lions prefer children and small women. One man said, "Oh, I guess it's like Veal to a mountain lion!". Hilarity!
We enjoyed the beautiful weather complete with a nice gentle breeze! We also enjoyed seeing lots of Chuckwallas!! |
