| no partners | | | I went on a 5 day river rafting trip on the Owyhee River of south eastern Oregon with a group of friends I met while living in Oregon. This triplog is for a short hike we did from the river bank to the top of a peak called White Dome on the 3rd day. There's some interesting geology here with alternating layers of white, black and red rock sculpted by erosion. It was a nice break from rafting with some scenic views. A very worthwhile stop if you're ever rafting down this section of the Owyhee River. |
