On Saturday I chose this loop hike I've done a few times before. Up to the spring, over to the hatchery, then follow the creek down to the bridge. Plenty of traffic heading up to the springs, but no one on the Highline at all. Stopped at DW creek for a break, then on to Tonto for some fly fishing. I followed the trail across Tonto creek then turned left and followed a series of trails that eventually connect with the trails coming from some parking areas down further. Lots of folks out fishing today. Back at the parking lot I grabbed a cold one then finished my loop back at camp. Rainbow trout was on the menu.
