The spring that helps feed a portion of this place is amazing and is a true perennial gem especially for the elevation of this area.
Jon, Pat and Daisy took the low route while Beth, Payton and I came in from a side entry/exit I wanted that I wanted to determine its existence.
We all ended up meeting at the exact spot we were searching for which was such a mind blowing set of narrows and much more.
Nothing technical but a lot of thigh deep wading and a few cliff bypasses while carrying a 50lb dog in one hand.
On the way back Beth, Payton I took a completely different route out and ended up stumbling on a surprise of dilapidated hilltop ruins complete with pottery shards!
Great day with great people in a great place! |
