Sunrise stroll utilzing a local gem that I’m finally revealing a track to since they might as well incorporate it into the PATS trail system since it’s such a well taken care of path marked with numerous cairns, rock trim and even a secret memorial lookout bench.
Although I only used a little bit of those trails and did a lot of cross country travel.
Always nice and quiet out here with beautiful views of the East Rim and large granite dell boulders similar to the Stewart Ridge/Pocket area, classic Payson terrain.
Surspinsly didn’t see my local herd of lady cows out here but fresh scat, tracks and bedding means they’re always nearby.
The weather is absolutely perfect in Rim Country feeling like a blissful spring but the only thing bad with that is the flatlanders are already starting to flock up on the weekends by the boatloads in their massive RV’s, pseudo SUVs and excessively lifted pavement loving trucks.
