Now that I found out this website can track all your hikes together and my wife and I can see how many miles we hiked this year, elevation gained, etc we are going to update all our hikes on here if possible. We hiked the Little Yeager Trail # 533, Yeager Cabin Trail, and Yeager Canyon Trail loop back on March 20th. The weather was in the 50's and on the northern slopes there was still some patches of snow which was fun to play with for my dog Riley! The loop trail was fun and it was nice to see all new terrain the whole hike considering we are mostly used to out and back hikes. Very pretty hike with great views but besides that nothing too spectacular. We both agreed we were glad to hike it and it was fun but wouldn't need to make a trip back anytime soon. Worth noting that the whole area seemed very dry sadly and the only water to be found was in Haywood Canyon upstream a ways. (It was dry once we initially crossed it on the little yeager trail # 533 but was flowing upstream on the yeager canyon trail. Love the Black hills and will no doubt be back this summer in the area to escape the heat!

think we found the spring even though it didn't match the maps. Appeared to be dripping slightly, but the whole area seemed to have had a dry winter
