Really nice day. The wind did drown out some of the birds including the very enjoyable Hermit Thrush, but I still heard quite a few, mostly down lower. Lots of cicadas, too. The air was pretty clean, much better than in the desert. Still, the front range of the Catalinas was hazy, as was most everything else.
