| no partners | | Braved the heat and went on yet another exploratory mid day hike roaming around mesas, ridges and even a little canyon action.
Saw one whitetail, a group of young spikes and a smorgasbord of cattle.
Brought the binos complete with tripod and spotted many interesting finds that may be leading to future trips in the area.
I thought I glassed up a bull deadhead and ended up hiking 500 yards out of the way twice attempting to locate it later realizing it was just a tree stump and branches 
Little extra exercise never hurt anyone and I got plenty of it roaming around off trail yesterday.  |
