| no partners | | Found out what its like to drive a big truck without power steering on the way to the hike, stopped at Clints Well for some power steering fluid but I have a faulty seal or reservoir as it leaked right on through immediately.
The must have had some popeye forearms back in the day because 4x4 driving with no power steering was a heck of a workout.
Came across three relatively fresh elk kills all with the skulls attached or nearby, all of them being calf's and with recent trail cam photos of a lion in the area there just may be a strong correlation between the two.
Even at the 6600-6900 elevation level it was uncomfortably warm and with mosquitos out on full force this tromp through the woods was a bit annoying at first but in the end a walk in the forest is always a blessing regardless of the circumstances.
