A steady sprinkle of rain had me dusting off the raincoat and pack cover which I was more than happy to do as I headed off into my favorite type of weather, in small doses of course.

All sorts of Bear, Elk, Deer and critter scat everywhere but yet no living animals seen.
As Circle Bar nears the lake downstream is where the canyon walls become impressively steep and hold such a healthy dense forest.
Not the most eventful hike but came across so many elk kills both old and new, maybe the "Mogollon Wolves" really are making a comeback.
Just after getting to the truck the skies completely darkened and soon after I was cozy in the camper sipping a brew enjoying quite a good little lightning and thunderstorm but minimal on the rain unfortunately but great to know monsoon season is finally here! :y:
