A nice day for a hike. I hadn't been doing much hiking lately, mostly biking, going to the gym, and swimming. Anyway, it felt great.

The man in the fire tower was friendly. I think I talked to him before, a couple of years ago. We spent a few minutes identifying landmarks and peaks, although the air was pretty hazy with the humidity and drifting smoke from some controlled burns, etc.

I notice on the map "Oak Spring" in a steep drainage. Has anyone tried to reach it?
