Lookout
yeah Lookout. Even though it was still pretty humid I really prefer hiking over the gym and trying Zumba for the second time in my life after just trying it two weeks ago.
The lot was full so I parked below which is actually fine with me. I started on the use trail and used that to access the northwest side of the loop. As I was rounding the southwest side I heard the obnoxious kids with their family from clear on the other side; so annoys me. And then I saw a pumpkin-colored house . I kid you not. Altho you can't see how orange it really was in the photo I'm posting. I should have taken the picture again when I got closer but I didn't want to waste the energy. I was thinking it was just painted for Halloween but that would be a little expensive.
The trail is in pretty good shape except there is one blow out on the Northeast side by a drainage. I said two "hello agains" as I encountered two hikers again which served the one guy right as he didn't acknowledge my first hello. By the time I got back to the lot it was half empty but then again, it was "reuben" time. |

For me, sometimes it's just as much about the journey as the destination.
Oh, and once in awhile, don't forget to look back at the trail you've traveled. |
