Wanted a hike close by with some good scenery and easy enough for my 6-month pregnant daughter to join. Hackberry Spring Loop fit the bill. We arrived at the TH around 9:30. Parking lot was about 3/4 full. Passed several groups, but good chunks of solitude along the way as well. I enjoyed descending the drainage on the North side of Garden Valley, as well as the riparian area near the spring and the mini-slot beyond. A beautiful day-after-Thanksgiving hike and one more thing to be grateful for.
