This was a hike down Cave Creek Trail #4 from Seven Springs accompanied by my upstairs neighbor, Jackie. We parked our car where the closed road FR24B to the old Ashdale Ranger Station leaves the Seven Springs Road, FR24. We hiked four miles to our turn around point at the petroglyphs where we stopped for lunch before heading back. There was enough water flowing in the creek to make it difficult to find a dry crossing at that location. Overall, an enjoyable scenic hike on this cool but sunny day.
