Rancid drift is strong on the west side of the circ which I noted a couple months ago too.
Down on Piestewa Basin Trail #1D, cool breeze. Everything is green, heaven esque.
A lot of people out in the Irregular Link vicinity. Far from crowded. Cool to see the rarely used gems getting attention.
Changing back to sandals realized this was my first hike without insoles. Forgot to put them back in yesterday after shaking out pebbles. Always wondered if the 1/16? inch thing was necessary. Probably, but I didn't notice a difference. Perhaps on rougher terrain the foot might slide around. Then again I like my Salomons for their tight yet comfortable fit. |

Wildflowers Observation Light
Dismal compared to SoMo. Interesting as the north stretch of the circ was a great wildflower show back in the late 90's. |
