Early birds stopped in last week for the trickle show. We came for the main event of mass snowmelt. Albeit windy, excellent temps. Worked our way past a waterfall some surfer wannabe dubbed Big Kahuna 21 years ago on St Patty's Day. We passed more hikers past the falls than I ever recall.

Lunched between the falls which Bruce repeatedly noted among the best lunch spots. I'll squeak it into the top 50, maybe 25. Trails were progressively muddy as the death star worked it's magic.

Great hike. One of Bruce's favs.
