Did this hike as the beginning & end of the Ballantine Cabin & Corral hike. Distance included there.

Lots of grasshoppers covering the trail that day! Flying all over the place, some even hitting me in the face as they flew up and around me. Also lizards galore, a couple of ground squirrels which quickly ran into their dirt holes upon seeing a big scary skinny human
