Made the 411 mile round trip from Goodyear to explore the spires and pinnacles of Red Mountain. New hiking friend Mark from Pine joined the regular Harem crew and was certainly an asset to have along for today's climbing adventure. Beautiful views of the mountain as you approach from the trailhead. We took the "gate" option on the way in and the ladder route on the way out. We had a great deal of fun exploring the slot canyons. There was a lot of butt hiking going on slipping and sliding our way back down from the higher reaches. Had a fantastic time!
