I closed out my weekend trip to Flagstaff by hiking up Humphreys Peak once again.

The weather was great for the hike -- much better weather than for my previous 5 summits of Humphreys.

We started seeing some snow on the trail at around 10,000 feet. As we went up there started being more sections where the trail had snow on it, and I put my microspikes on at around 10,700 feet. At about 11,200 feet the trail was pretty much covered in snow, and the trail began to be hard to follow the closer we got to Agassiz Saddle. Even with my GPS I got off trail a few times; route finding was easier on the way back down though.

There was no snow on the trail from Agassiz Saddle up to the summit, which made for a normal ascent.

Civilization is a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there
