It's been four years since I last did the Alta Bajada loop. I was in the area for the NTT shirt pick up anyway. Last time I did Bajada first, this time I did Alta first. It was a cool morning but warm in the sun. I saw the created saguaro this time. I missed it last time -- it's a lot more obvious going this direction. Stopped off at the top of Maricopa Peak to check out the view and rest a bit after the climb. Then back along Bajada which was a lot more tiring than going the other way around. All in all a good day on the trail.
