Hike w/ kiddos. The skies were grey and cloudy and threatening, though they did little more than spit a few times at us. Trail is flat and easy for the first two miles, a few sections of rock that tripped the little ones, and then it gets exposed, and I had to mandate some hand-holding to avoid ill-timed stumbles. Took us over five hours, four breaks, sugary bribes, and a few threats, but everyone made the distance without carries. At this point I fear they might be ready for R2R2R before teenage years :o

Crowds were light, saw maybe ten groups in all, everyone was super friendly and happy to be out.
