A popular debarkation area for kayakers and a nice fishing spot, this little parking lot does have a little trail to follow. My wife and I decided to get some fresh after being cooped up in our house like prisoners of the Rona that we all are right now. She has very bad knees, so I had to take it easy. This little mini-hike offers some amazing scenery for sure.

I always look across the river at Red Mountain and drool when I come out here....I can see a clear route up from the southside of the mountain. But, unless I befriend a tribal member crazy enough to go with me, I will have to just dream about hiking up there.

A beautiful sunset, some fresh air, and some quality outdoor time with my lovely wife. I'll take that any day.
