| no partners | | | It's been about a month since I've hit the trails, so I headed up to Knoll Lake up on the rim to hike East Leonard Canyon. No actual trail in the canyon, followed a game trail most of the way. Not your typical rim canyon as there are really no rock formations, just tons and tons of ferns! Been dealing with a bit of Metatarsalgia recently and it flared up pretty bad a couple miles in. Cut it shorter then I wanted to, but still got the chance to get out in the pines. Another trip without any wildlife sightings, that's 4 hikes in a row nothing without a sighting of anything, very strange. Also got my look at the damage from the Bush Fire on the way up and man it does not look good at all. |
