| no partners | | Headed up to the rim for the final time this year to check out the fall colors one last time. Scouted out a couple spots in Gentry Canyon a few weeks back that I wanted to come back to once it was closer to peak color. Colors are peaking now on most trees, although some have lost nearly all there leaves. Not much time left before most are bare till next year. Came across a pretty fresh pile of elk internal organs at Gentry Spring. Apparently whoever killed the elk decided to leave the stomach, intestines and heart  . The rim never disappoints with its color show. |
