Headed up to rim country to try and get some miles in today. Been hot for so long I haven't gotten many miles in this summer. Started at the Pinchot Cabin and headed up the U Bar trail. I've hiked U Bar from 321 to Barbershop Canyon, so was looking to finish it today. Stopped for lunch at the top of Barbershop Canyon and headed back. No wildlife sightings, came across a guy on a mountain bike with a dog and a small group backpacking out that's it. Upper 50's in the morning mid 70's in the afternoon, absolutely perfect!
