Starting from the intersection of 6th St & Bank St, which Wallace has dubbed “Center of the Universe”, we headed diwn Hotel St over to the 7th St steps. Up 158 steps, then back down. Several dogs greeted us at the top.
We then took Hotel St back to 6th St and up those steps. They started behind the city pool, and were the longest set of stairs. Up 212 steps, then back down.
Took Bank St over to 5th St. Up 127 steps and back down.
Over to High Bank St and up the 4th St steps. Up 147 steps, then back down. Again, greeted by several dogs.
Over to the 3rd St steps. Up 142 steps, then back down, which finished off the tour. Lots of cute houses on the hillside, and some nice views of the town from a unique angle. |
