| partners | | | Got a bit of a late start, but that didn’t matter for such a short hike. The trail heads uphill right away, and stays around the same incline the entire way. Trail is in good shape, almost no rocks, and only one downed tree to step over. I’m sure @tibber will be happy—the kids found a few huckleberries to snack on. Views were best from the short side trail to Lakeview Lookout. Once we got near the summit, it was a very short offtrail to the true summit. Easy to get to, but minimal views. Easy hike back down to the trailhead. Only drawback for the day was the constant mosquitoes. |
