First half mile is easy, follows an old road, then the trail veers off to the right and becomes steeper. Lots of switchbacks. Unfortunately, people cut the switchbacks and hardly stay on trail, leading to plenty of erosion, and some difficulty staying on the actual trail. If you pay attention, and stay on the switchbacks, this hike is much easier. Lots of graffiti on the rocks. The kids played under the water for a few minutes, had a snack, then sat in the small cave for a few minutes. Lots of people hiking up as we were headed down. |
