A new trail was carved out at the base of the mountain just off Bursera Canyon connecting to pyramid TH. No label has been put on it yet but I would say it would be lower Bursera trail to complete the Bursera loop. Nice easy relatively flat trail to test my foot on!! 
88 degrees when I left the house and 99 at the end of the walk. Good walk and a few hikers braving the heat. Foot did good and looking forward to completing this loop and more hiking and beyond!!
