so why not? Light traffic on a Wednesday and shade all the way up. I stopped on the Flatiron, hiked up to Peak 5024 and since I was up there, hiked down the ridgeline to look down Old West Boulder Canyon. The burn near Flatiron is light and doesn't get bad until the top of Old West Boulder Canyon. The temps were nice as the chute is shaded and it didn't get warm until the final leg on the Crosscut Trail.
