One more time. I haven't seen any snakes on this one in a while so I was due. I kicked up a diamond back about half way across Black mesa trail. He was loud and not very friendly so I couldn't get a good photo. I also saw a tarantula which was calm as usual so a better subject. I stopped and talked to one other hiker who was searching for his camera which he dropped the day before. I looked with him a little while but it must have fallen into a bush and slid down out of view. The temps weren't too bad and I finished well before 8 am.
