I never make the Thanksgiving Day Hike so thought I'd try it for the 4th. The trails open at 4:42 am so I planned on a nice cool early start. The humidity was up so instead of flying like an eagle I was sweating like a turtle.

The temps were good and the clouds kept the sun hidden for most of the way. The trail was well traveled today but not too busy to slow the pace.
