| partners | | It had been a couple of years since I let the captain take me on a tour of the HMS Turkey Leg, and I had never done it via Boulder Canyon before. We opted for this route to avoid the fire scar. There were a couple of pools of water at the 2nd Water crossing, but Boulder was dry the whole way.
Having seen the result of over visitation to other Arizona off-trail puzzles that the internet doesn't seem to understand are supposed to be unmarked, I was actually surprised that there are not yet any spray painted dots to hold the hands of those who don't like the challenge of finding a way through on their own.
We didn't start our day too early, and after a solid break enjoying the view from the bridge, we opted against dropping into the box and taking LaB back.
No sheep today, and only a handful of hikers within view of the parking lot on the way out. As always, thanks to Kyle for making this one an internet sensation! The original #influencer   |
