| partners | | Patrick and Asia and I invited ourselves to join Bree, Allie, Jessie, Ryan, and 9L for a Battleship Summit. I did influence the selected route so we ended up starting from Boulder Canyon and doing a loop into La Barge with a nice visit to the box. A few in our group had never been up Battleship, so it was fun to introduce them to the place that toughboots ruined forever.  
Not much traffic out there today, but a pair of hikers who were up there after us spooked a bighorn from the plateau below the summit. I'm sorry we missed that one today as it's been a couple of visits since I've seen sheep up there.
We took a break at the box before heading back downstream. I've never done lower Boulder, and neither had 9L, so with uncertainty ahead we opted instead to take 103 back the way we came.
