| no partners | | I enjoy this hike so I decided to head to the Supes today.
From the First Water TH, we took the Dutchman Trail to Little Boulder Canyon, and then followed the wash for about 1/2 mile; then we followed a use trail up to Aylors Arch and Palomino Mountain. It is always nice being up on top of the arch -- well not right on top of it, but right next to it.
Then we went back the way we came to the Dutchman Trail and took it to the Bull Pass Trail, which we followed to a spur trail that went up to the top of Black Top Mesa. We hung out there for a while and then took the Bull Pass Trail back to the Dutchman Trail, which took us back to the TH.
We hardly saw anyone in the morning, but in the afternoon there were a few people on the Dutchman Trail, but it wasn't too crowded.
It was a great day to be out in the Superstitions! |
