Second hike we took Bro-in-law and his wife on. I thought this one had a lot to offer to the Minnesotans - not super strenuous, with a lot of interesting sites to see along the way. We had the roost all to ourselves and had our lunch there. They really enjoyed the first half of the hike and were in high spirit, but it became a bit too much later on. So we abandoned the plan of the Cave Trail and took the dreaded Peralta down instead. I hadn't been up there since the fire last year. Sad to see the burns. It was very nice to see water in a lot of drainages from the recent rain.
