I've been wondering how long it would take me to hike my loaded mountain bike up the colonel Devin trail as compared to backpacking trips, possibly opening up future riding loops. Seventy eight minutes it took going up, thirteen minutes longer. Zero percent chance of rain, ha! It took 32 minutes coming down, all rideable after the little rock fort. The east Verde is loaded with Gila trout once again this year.
