| partners | | | Headed up See Canyon Trail with a side trip to See Spring. Lower half of See Canyon is in good shape, upper half is in rough shape, and very steep. Some poison ivy around the halfway to two-thirds point. Once at the top, took a combo of Gen Crook, Carr Lake, and the road through the campground over to the top of Drew, stopping about midway for a snack break. Down Drew, which is in mostly good shape. Then took Highline back west to finish out the loop. Only saw two other hikers all day. Heard some turkeys, but no other wildlife. Good temps most of the way, along with a nice breeze. Very dry, but the area did get some light rain yesterday. |
