| no partners | | I had to work on the observed holiday last Friday, so I got today off instead. I haven't been able to hike for almost a month, and with no other obligations I decided to head for the Rim.
I followed this loop in a clockwise direction, starting at the See Canyon trailhead. See Canyon is a favorite. I added See Spring this time, a nice treat. After See, I started out on the General Crook trail, but left the trail after a couple of miles. I wasn't feeling it up top and decided to shorten the distance to Drew. Once on Drew, I was enjoying myself again.
As Outdoor Lover mentioned in her recent triplog, the Highline trail between Drew and See is in marvelous shape. Remnants from the clean-up remain along side of the trail in spots, but the trail itself is fabulous. It made for a very nice end to this hike.
