Work took me to Tennessee this week. I stopped here for a little trout fishing near the town of Roan Mountain TN. Roan Mountain State Park is nearby. This is a nice little stream, empty on a Wednesday, and I caught several nice rainbows near the city park. The Fishing Trail follows the river for a number of miles and provides a parking areas and connecting trails along the way.
Friday/Saturday nights I'm planning to backpack in the GSMNP.
