| no partners | | Well I tried. After the backyard test and checking the forecast, I went to Plan B, made my water and headed north. I was going to start with Ridgeback today. I got out at the TH and it seemed delightful.
As I started on the trail it started to sprinkle lightly but still hikeable. As I started up the hill though, yep, you guessed it, the rain really started up and the intensity increased so I decided to turn around at the trail post. My little umbrella didn't do that much good as the rain increased. And with the rain sticking around so long these couple days, I didn't think it was something I could wait out. Oh well, I tried... too bad for me. I couldn't see the mountains of the South Preserve nor mountains north as the rain traversed the Valley.
Once I got home, it wasn't raining so I had to get the mail and decided to do a 'hood walk, Plan A. On my second round I put the lids back on the irrigation holes; not sure why someone would take them off but we do have children on the corner by the common yard. It started to sprinkle so I was going to have to cut this trip short too.
