| no partners | | A quick morning hike out in the Goldfields. I totally cheated and drove along 1536 to the base of this trail. The hike up is easy to follow and offers some very nice views of the Superstitions.
One car at the gate when we drove out and we heard and saw no other humans while out in the desert. The drive is part of the fun. The road is rough is spots, but not too bad. Definitely need a high clearance vehicle.
I have been up here a few times before and I love the scenery. The skies were clear, but very hazy. We wanted to do a little more and I was heading over to Top Hat when my phone rang. Duty called and I had to go make some money to pay for all of this hiking, camera and off-road expense I have been racking up lately. ha ha Darn job, ruining my fun!
I will wait for some cooler temps and and give the Lesser Three Peaks area a good explore next time out. |
